Tom Blackford is an artist who specialises in street art and illustration. The artist runs PopUp Painting’s special street art events each month. The artist was born in London, where he currently lives and works.

Predominantly an illustrator and painter, Tom’s work has also embellished many walls across the city as a graffiti/street artist adopting the moniker ‘Inkfetish’- a signature coined during his early years of inking his own comics before finding the city to be an equally compelling canvas for him to portray his characters and stories. Tom is versatile in his subject matter and media but it is his distinctive style and attention to detail that is the common thread throughout all of his work.

As an illustrator, his work has been featured in a host of publications, as well as his own self published comic ‘No Strings’; a dark and surreal take on the celebrated story of Pinocchio. The artist has been invited to exhibit at animation industry powerhouses such as Pixar animation and Blue Sky studios.

Having spent over a decade also painting his work in the street, Tom has become an in demand muralist, with his artwork adorning the walls of high profile venues across London including Soho’s ‘Chotto-Matte’ restaurant and Mark Hix’s ‘Hixter’ and ‘Tramshed’. Previous clients have included Vanity Fair, Ubisoft, Xbox, Capcom, Manga Entertainment, Microsoft and Nike.
